The nose is fruity, racy, a bit powerful and offers elegance as well as a (very) slight richness. It reveals notes of black cherry, blueberry and wild strawberry combined with slight hints of liquorice, Sichuan pepper as well as an imperceptible touch of flowers and graphite / camphor. The palate is fruity, suave and offers tension, dynamism, a racy minerality, a fine freshness as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry and cassis associated with small notes of red berries, raspberry, juicy cherry as well as touches of liquorice, racy minerality, a discreet hint of olive and spices. Tannins are well-built.
