The nose is gourmand, aromatic and offers generosity as well as elegance. It reveals notes of juicy blueberry, fleshy strawberry and fleshy red berries associated with touches of fleshy cherry, violet, laurel, sweet spices, vanilla and caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, straightness, tension, a small acid frame, a racy minerality, a small suavity as well as power (but well controlled). On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry and juicy / ripe black berries associated with small notes of fresh raspberry, fleshy small red fruits as well as small touches of laurel, licorice, caramelization, racy minerality and hints of cocoa. Tannins are a bit firm and slightly dry. Good length. The finish is slightly intense and powerful.
