The nose is fruity, racy, slightly powerful and offers a fine intensity and finesse. It reveals notes of blackberry, crunchy strawberry and small notes of wild berries associated with touches of garrigue, Sichuan pepper, racy minerality, discreet hints of olive as well as an imperceptible touch of caramelization and chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, elegant, silky and offers fat, an acid frame, juiciness, a beautiful minerality as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed/ripe redcurrants, juicy / crushed cassis and small notes of strawberry, blackberry associated with touches of cherry, garrigue, discreet hints of chocolate, caramelized oak as well as a very discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla and cardamom. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length and good persistence. The finish is slightly powerful.
