The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers power. It reveals notes of cassis, crushed boysenberry and small notes of fleshy red fruits, Sichuan pepper combined with small touches of racy minerality, garrigue, spices and discreet toasted hints / caramelization. The palate is fruity, fluid, silky, well-balanced, dynamic and offers a mineral frame, a good guideline, a fine suavity, finesse as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, juicy black berries and small notes of redcurrants, wild strawberries associated with hints of black olive, licorice, toasted hints and a very discreet hint of cardamom. Tannins are (very) slightly dry / grainy. Good length and persistence. There is a touch of fresh almond and a toasted touch / tonka bean on the persistence.
