The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine intensity as well as a fine fleshiness. It reveals notes of black cherry, fleshy Quetsche plum and small notes of crushed wild currants / berries associated with discreet touches of spices as well as hints of crunchy cassis and an imperceptible hint of licorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, (very) slightly tight, precise and offers a good definition, a beautiful acid frame, a fine juiciness, roundness, fat as well a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild redcurrants / red berries, black cherry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with hints of cassis, cassis bud as well as subtle hints of liquorice. Tannins are fine, well-built and structuring. Good length.
