The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of ripe strawberries, cassis and small berries associated with discreet touches of Sichuan pepper, spices and an imperceptible touch of flowers / cassis bud. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, suavity, fat, a mineral frame, a fine acidity, a very fine tension as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy cherry and small notes of fleshy plum associated with fine hints of zan, sweet spices, toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of violet and chocolate. Tannins are fine and (very) discreetly dry. Good length.
