The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a fine mineral frame, a beautiful juiciness, fat, unctuosity, straightess, a small tension, a fine freshness, power, gourmandise, a small roundness, a beautiful ripe fruit as well as richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, black cherry and small notes of redcurrant combined with hints of black cherry, sweet spices, ripe almond as well as a very discreet toasted hint, chocolate and an imperceptible touch of caramelization. Tannins are supple.
