Domaine de la Préceptorie – Coume Marie 2016 – AOC Côtes du Roussillon

The nose is ripe and offers a small freshness as well as a small minerality. It reveals notes of cassis and black cherry associated with fine hints of cooked cassis, ripe strawberry as well as an imperceptible touch of black olive, garrigue, an imperceptible toasted touch and tonka bean. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, ripe and offers a fine mineral frame, a beautiful straightness, a beautiful tension as well as a beautiful fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, black cherry and small notes of ripe blueberry associated with a subtle touch of strawberry / red fruits, black olive / garrigue, a subtle toast touch / chocolat and ripe hazelnut. Tannins are fine and structuring. Appetence and gourmandise on the finish. Good persistence.
