Quinta da Arrobe – Mensagem – 2014 Reserva – Vinho Regional Tejo

The nose offers power as well as a small concentration. The wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of cassis, wild berries and small notes of flowers / olive tree associated with fine hints of wild strawberry, ripe redcurrants, Cuben pepper and discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, precise and offers a small juiciness, a fine straightness, an acid frame, a small fat, a fine suavity, a beautiful minerality, a good structure as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy wild strawberry and small notes of red berries associated with small touches of garrigue / olive tree, racy minerality as well as a very discreet hint of black olive and a imperceptible hint of eucalyptus. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of chocolate on the persistence.
