The nose is elegant, racy, slightly powerful and offers generosity. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of wild berries associated with fine touches of fleshy / crunchy strawberry, black olive, chocolate as well as discreet touches of toasted oak / vanilla. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, elegant, straight, precise, gourmande, generous and offers a fine suavity, fat, a fine unctuosity as well as a fine acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of ripe / juicy redcurrants, scrubland / olive tree, racy minerality as well as hints of flowers, chocolate, toasted / caramelized oak and an imperceptible touch of fresh almond (in the background). Tannins are a bit chewy. Good length. Fine chews on the finish.
