The nose is aromatic, well-built and offers elegance. The wine needs to be served in carafe. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and small wild red berries associated with fine touches of olive, rosemary / garrigue, chocolate and a very discreet touch of spices / nutmeg. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, well-built, precise and offers juiciness, tension, a beautiful definition, suavity, delicacy as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed raspberry, cassis and wild strawberry combined with touches of Bigarreau cherry, tonka bean, sweet spices, black olive and a very discreet hint of rosemary / sage / laurel (in the background). Tannins are fine and a bit firm. Good length. (2020+)
