The nose is aromatic, elegant, gourmet, racy, fresh and offers complexity and finesse. The wine needs to be served in carafe. It reveals notes of crushed red berries, racy minerality, garrigue / grove and fresh cherry associated with fine touches of crushed blackberry as well as discreet hints of spices and a hint of Sichuan pepper. The mouth is juicy, fine, elegant, racy, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine mineral frame, a fine acidity (in the background) as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / fresh raspberry, wild strawberry and red berries juicy / fresh associated with fine touches of small black berries, fleshy blackberry, red cherry, garrigue, black olive, subtle hints of racy minerality as well as a very discreet hint of dark chocolate and toasted almond (on the finish). Tannins are fine and slightly chewy. Good length and beautiful persistence.
