The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a slight straightness / concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild berries and small notes of vanilla, garrigue / grove associated with slight hints of Sichuan pepper, sweet spices and a discreet hint of racy minerality. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, gourmande, precise, “clean” and offers a small fleshiness, a small unctuosity as well as a beautiful precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy raspberry and small notes of crushed cherry associated with small hints of fleshy redcurrants, vanilla, chocolate as well as discreet hints of almond and caramelization. Tannins are fine, a bit firm and (very) slightly dry. Good length. There are touches of dark chocolate on the persistence.
