The nose is aromatic. It reveals notes of nutmeg, garrigue and fine hints of undergrowth combined with touches of fleshy wild strawberry, blackberry as well as a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fleshy, suave, slightly tight, a small gourmandise and offers a fine juiciness, a mineral frame as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild strawberry, red cherry and small notes of crushed redcurrants combined with touches of blackberry, cassis as well as slight hints of liquorice / zan and a discreet hint of tobacco. Good length. There are a hint of tonka bean, a discreet hint of coffee and an imperceptible touch of almond on the persistence.
