The nose is fruity and offers power, a small straightness as well as concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and slight wild redcurrant / wild strawberry combined with hints of oak, cardamom / sweet spices and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers a nice minerality (racy minerality), freshness and a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy / crushed cassis and slight notes of black cherry associated with slight touches of red berries as well as subtle touches of vanilla / wood. Tannins are very slightly firm and medium grain. Good length.
