Cantina Tollo – C’Incanta 2012 – Trebbiano D’Abruzzo 

The nose is fresh, fruity and well-built. It reveals notes of mirabelle plum, quince, white peach and crunchy apple combined with subtle hints of beeswax, sweet spices as well as an imperceptible hint of muesli and olive tree. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful minerality, an acid frame, tension, a fine suavity as well as a very nice freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, beeswax and small notes of crunchy apple associated with fine touches of mirabelle plum, pear, melon, dried small yellow fruits, beeswax as well as a discreet hint of almond / muesli and (almost saline) racy minerality. Good length. The finish / aftertaste are slightly powerful.
