Frentana – Donna Greta 2016 Pecorino – Terre di Chieti

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a small fleshiness / intensity. It reveals notes of fresh Granny Smith apple, crushed peach and small notes of pear associated with slight touches of fresh citrus (mandarin orange …), quince as well as a very discreet hint of flowers and an imperceptible touch of eucalyptus / olive tree. The palate is fruity, juicy and offers gourmandise, a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful definition, a small tension, precision as well as complexity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy apple, crunchy peach and crunchy pineapple associated with touches of juicy citrus (quince, sweet lemon, tangerine), fleshy / juicy mirabelle and an imperceptible touch of beeswax. Good length. Gourmandise / suavity and presence of a very discreet touch of saline minerality on the finish.
