The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, redcurrant and fresh / fleshy red fruit combined with touches of minerality, fresh cherry, blackberry as well as very discreet hints of sweet spices, licorice and imperceptible hint of olive. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmande, fleshy, a bit tight, beautifully built and offers a beautiful definition, finesse, precision, a beautiful juiciness of the fruit, suavity, a mineral frame, a fine tension as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, fleshy raspberry / blackberry and small notes of crushed redcurrants, ripe / crushed cassis associated with a touch of ripe black cherry, sweet spices, vanilla, chocolate, discreet touches of caramelized oak as well as an imperceptible touch of flowers and olive. Tannins are fine, elegant, well built and supple. Good persistence. Suavity and presence of a very discreet toasted hint on the persistence.
