The nose is fruity, aromatic, slightly powerful and offers a slight richness. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and slight notes of crushed fleshy raspberry associated with slight / discreet touches of liquorice, wood as well as a very discreet hint of cornflower. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, fleshiness, a slight straightness, a slight tension as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis and slight touches of fleshy raspberry, toasted oak associated with discreet touches of fleshy wild red fruits, chocolate, touches of liquorice as well as slight hints of coffee, toasted oak and a slight hint of caramelization. Tannins are fine. Good length and persistence.
