The nose is fruity, slightly restrained and offers power as well as richness. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals fine notes of black berries, cassis and fleshy / juicy blueberry combined with slight touches of wild strawberry, black cherry, dark chocolate, toasted oak as well as an imperceptible hint of caramel and subtle hints of flowers (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a beautiful acid frame, a beautiful freshness, a very nice density, a beautiful matter, a beautiful expression / structure as well as complexity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blueberry, crushed cassis and slight notes of fresh red fruits associated with touches of dark chocolate, a subtle hint of grove as well as a very discreet hint of black cherry and toasted oak. Good length.
