The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as concentration. It reveals notes of cassis and wild blackberry associated with slight touches of wild berries, liquorice, spices as well as a subtle hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers gourmandise, finesse, elegance, silkiness as well as a slight freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and slight touches of wild strawberry combined with subtle toasted touches, chocolate and vanilla / wood. Tannins are fine, straight and slightly firm. Good length. There are of subtle touches of liquorice and chocolate on the aftertaste / persistence.
