The nose is aromatic, slightly captivating and offers power. It reveals notes of black cherry, plum and slightly fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry associated with slight touches of toasted wood, nutmeg, an imperceptible hint of violet as well as a very discreet spices hint, tobacco and soil. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight gourmandise, juiciness, harmony, roundness, a good volume, a slight suavity, elegance as well as a slight righteousness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy black cherry, ripe / fleshy redcurrant and slight touches of toasted wood, crushed blueberry associated with touches of tobacco, a subtle touch of cedar as well as an imperceptible touch of minerality saline and with a very discreet touch of chocolate (at the end of the mouth). Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Chew on the end of the mouth. Good persistence.
