The nose is concentrated and offers power. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry and slight notes of strawberry, plum associated with touches of cornflower, subtle touches of blueberry, dried cherry as well as touches of spices, a hint of gray pepper, subtle hints of tobacco and an imperceptible touch of caramelized oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a slight gourmandise, straightness, tension as well as an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy redcurrants, juicy cherry and slight notes of blueberry, fleshy blackberry associated with slight touches of Zan, tobacco as well as discreet woody touches. Tannins are well-built, fine and a bit dry. Good length. There is a hint of caramelization and a woody hint on thepersistence.
