The nose is fine and elegant. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild black berries and touches of Sichuan pepper combined with small notes of fleshy strawberry and chocolate / tonka bean. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a slight freshness, harmony as well as concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, cassis and slight notes of fleshy / crushed black berries associated with slight touches of fleshy raspberry, chocolate, caramelized oak, vanilla, slight notes of spices as well as an imperceptible hint of cigar / tobacco (in the background) and cardamom. Tannins are fine, well-built, elegant and slightly firm. Good length.
