The nose is powerful, concentrated and fruity. It reveals notes of crème de cassis and slight notes of blackberry combined with touches of blueberry cream, woody touches, gray pepper as well as a subtle hint of caramelization and hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, a slight unctuosity as well as a relatively dense and tight matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed blackberry and slight notes of crushed strawberry associated with slight touches of cassis, subtle woody touches, mocha as well as subtle hints of tobacco and black tea. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length. Gourmandise on the finish.
