The nose is elegant, powerful, racy, structured and quite captivating. It reveals notes of blackberry, terroir and slight notes of blackberry, strawberry, ripe redcurrant associated with hints of ripe black fruit, licorice / licorice stick, chocolate, caramelized oak as well as an imperceptible hint of pepper and cinnamon. The palate is fruity, well balanced, gourmande and offers a beautiful juicy / acid frame, minerality, fleshiness, a slight suavity, a good structure as well as a beautiful silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of strawberry, crushed raspberry, juicy blackberry and slight notes of crushed / ripe redcurrant combined with slight touches of liquorice stick, tobacco, spices and a subtle hint of oak.
