The nose is aromatic. It reveals notes of cassis, fleshy wild strawberries, and hints of cherry, boysenberry associated with subtle hints of flowers as well as touches of chocolate, caramelized oak and a touch of Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, a slight acidity as well as a good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / crushed redcurrant and fleshy cherry associated with small notes of fleshy raspberry, crushed cassis and slight hints of chocolate / wood. Tannins are very slightly dry. Good length.
