Encostas D La – Reserva 2016 – Douro

The nose is fruity and offers fleshiness. It reveals notes of fleshy brugnon, pear and slight notes of exotic fruits associated with hints of zests and citrus. The mouth is fresh, fruity, juicy and offers a beautiful gourmandise, a beautiful definition, a slight tension, a slight mineral frame (in the background), a slight unctuosity, a small density, fleshiness, a good freshness as well as a nice fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of apple and fleshy / ripe peach combined with slight touches of racy minerality, fresh pineapple, fresh mandarin, fleshy / fresh quenette, discreet touches of ripe lemon (in the background) as well as an imperceptible hint of grove (in the background) and oak (in the background). Good length.
