Hardy – Noces d’Argent – Cognac

The nose is fine, elegant, quite aromatic and offers a beautiful precision / definition as well as deepness. It reveals notes of crystallized tangerine, peach and slight notes of quince associated with slight touches of zests, dried apricot, a hint of dry yellow grapes as well as a subtle hint of lemon flowers, cedar and a discreet hint of almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, beautifully elegant, well-built, slightly suave and offers a slight mineral frame, a slight juiciness, a beautiful definition as well as power (but well-controlled / well-balanced!). In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of crystallized mandarin, candied lemon and slight notes of quince associated with touches of caramel, pâtisseries as well as subtle hints of vanilla Bourbon, almond, black tea and a grilled hint. Good length. Gourmandise and suavity on the finish. Beautiful persistence.
