Roussille – VSOP – Cognac

The nose is fruity, slightly powerful and offers a slight incisive side. It reveals notes of orange zests, candied mandarin and Zante currant combined small notes of apple, rancio, wood, gray pepper as well as subtle touches of citron, tobacco and a discreet hint of clove. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers fat, a slight straightness, a slight acid frame, a small fat, a small fleshiness as well as power. On the palate, this Cognac expresses notes of caramelized apple, caramel pear and quince associated with small notes of canded mirabelle, small touches of rancio, pâtisseries as well as a slight touch of white pepper on the finish.
