The nose is powerful, aromatic and offers intensity. It reveals notes of black cherry, crushed blueberry and slight notes of fleshy / ripe red berries associated with discreet hints of violet, spices (clove, cardamom …) and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmand, elegant, delicate and offers finesse, tension, fat, a slight freshness, a beautiful acid frame, tension as well as a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, redcurrant and raspberry combined with hints of blackberry / plum, slight touches of chocolate, toasted touches, cardamom and discreet vanilla bourbon hints. Tannins are fine and slightly chewy (offer chews). Beautiful persistence. There is an imperceptible touch of coffee on the persistence.
