The nose is aromatic, racy and offers minerality as well as a slight generosity. It reveals raspberries, red berries and slight hints of violet associated with a hint of blackberry, subtle hints of licorice as well as a discreet hint of tobacco, cedar, Cuben pepper and a touch of imperceptible hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy, suave, gourmand, racy and offers a slight freshness, finesse, a nice definition / structure, roundness, power (but well-controlled), a nice acid frame, a good precision as well as a nice grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, red berries and cherry associated with slight touches of blackberry, toasted touches, liquorice as well as a discreet hint of flowers and a touch of tobacco / vanilla. Tannins are well-built. Good persistence.
