The nose is fine, a bit powerful and offers minerality. It reveals touches of plum, blackberry and crushed strawberry combined with a touch of wild raspberry, spices as well as subtle hints of wood and Cuben pepper. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice definition, suavity, gourmandise, a slight unctuosity, tension, a beautiful guideline, a beautiful matter, precision as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry and ripe / fleshy red currant associated with slight touches of cassis, a subtle hint of cherry as well as subtle touches of licorice, chocolate and a touch of vanilla (in background). Tannins are well-built. Beautiful gourmandise and persistence.
