The nose is aromatic and fresh. It reveals notes of redcurrant, raspberry and blackberry combined with a hint of balsamic, small touches of toasted oak as well as an imperceptible hint of gray pepper, spices and garrigue. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight acid frame, fat, tension as well as a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of redcurrant, raspberry and small notes of cassis combined with slight touches of racy minerality, spices, toasted oak and a very discreet hint of garrigue / olive tree (in the background). Tannins are slightly dry. Good length. Good persistence. There are a toasted hint / caramelization and hint of colas on the persistence.
