The nose is aromatic, gourmand, well-built and offers elegance as well as a slight concentration. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and ripe red fruits associated with small notes of chocolate, garrigue as well as a subtle hint of nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of hazelnut (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, silky, gourmand, well balanced, precise and offers a slight acid frame, freshness, a beautiful guideline, a beautiful roundness, a beautiful suavity as well as a nice, fine and very slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe / crushed wild strawberry, crushed cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of raspberry, blueberry, chocolate, racy minerality associated with slight touches of olive, sweet spices as well as an imperceptible hint of vanilla and coffee (in the background). Tannins are elegant and very slightly tight. Good length and good persistence.
