The nose is fine, powerful, racy and offers concentration. It reveals notes of wild berries, wild cassis and laurel berries combined with small notes of blackberry, red berries, dried black olives and touches of forest floor / garrigue. The palate is fruity, well balanced and offers a fine acid frame, a fine minerality (in the background), a fine suavity, fat as well as a nice tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of juicy red berries associated with a hint of Bigarreau cherry as well as fine touches of liquorice, colas, dried black olive and discreet toasted hints / vanilla. Tannins are fine. Good length.
