The nose is fruity, finely powerful and offers concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, wild blackberries and wild berries associated with fine touches of wild strawberry, spices, violet / flowers and racy minerality, a touch of Cuben pepper as well as a subtle hint of wood and an imperceptible hint of prose. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers suavity, fat, a fine acid frame and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis and crushed blackberry combined with small notes of wild strawberry, crunchy redcurrant as well as touches of toasted oak, violet / flowers, spicy hints and at a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are a bit tight. Good persistence. There is an imperceptible touch of Cuben pepper in the background / persistence.
