The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine richness. It reveals notes of fleshy Boysenberry, cassis and fine notes of fleshy strawberry combined with touches of toasted oak and a fine hint of vanilla/wood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a nice acid frame, a fine suavity, a nice juiciness, harmony as well as tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy / fleshy blackberry and juicy cassis combined with fine touches of wild raspberry, fleshy/ripe small red berries and touches of toasted oak, vanilla as well as a subtle hint of caramelized oak. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm / dry. There is a slight hint of coffee on the aftertaste. Good length.
