The nose is finely fruity, well-structured, finely powerful and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of black currant, blackberry and fine touches of cassis associated with subtle hints of strawberry, spice and subtle touches of oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a fine concentration, a fine fleshiness, tension, a fine fresh frame, a fine acidity (in the background) and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed cassis and fine touches of black currant, raspberry associated with subtle woody touches, toasted oak / vanilla and a subtle hint of caramelization and cardamom. Tannins are a bit chewy. Good length.
