Croix de Labrie 2015 – Stella Solare – Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, structured, elegant and offers a fine concentration as well as a nice freshness. There are notes of lemon zest, orange zest and a hint of grapefruit combined with a subtle hint of beeswax as well as a discreet hint of ripe pear and a very discreet hint of almond / wood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, straight, aerial and offers a nice tension, fat, a nice freshness, a fine acidity (in the background), juiciness as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lemon zest and clementine zest associated with discreet touches of beeswax, kumquat and an imperceptible / discreet hint of wood as well as a discreet hint of caramelized oak on the aftertaste. Imperceptible tannic sensation on the aftertaste. There is a hint of acidulous fruits on the aftertaste after two caudalies.
