The nose is fruity, fresh, racy and offers power and a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, strawberry and wild fruits combined with touches of black pepper, graphite, a very discreet touch of violet as well as an imperceptible / subtle touch of mint and toasted oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers fleshiness, power, freshness, fat, a good structure, gourmandise, a nice precision / straightness, a beautiful suavity, a nice depthness, a beautiful grain as well as a beautiful, silky, soft and a bit tight matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy raspberry and small notes of boysenberry combined with touches of fleshy fruits, hints of vanilla/wood, caramelized oak as well as subtle / discreet touches liquorice / menthol and a discreet hint of graphite. Tannins are fine and elegant. Beautiful length. There is a hint of acidity / freshness on the persistence (brings gourmandise).
