The nose is aromatic, slightly powerful and offers a slight intensity. It reveals notes of black cherry, cassis and hints of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/ripe strawberry associated with hints of spices, a subtle hint of pepper as well as a very discreet hint of minerality almost salin and subtle hints of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight mineral frame, a slight freshness, a slight juiciness, gourmandize, roundness, a nice structure as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe plum, black cherry and slight touches of juicy cassis associated with hints of toasted oak, a subtle hint of wild strawberry, spices, slight touches of chocolate/tonka bean, a slight hint of flowers as well as subtle woody hints and Bourbon vanilla (in the background). Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Good length.
