The nose reveals notes of cassis, cassis bud and fresh / juicy berries combined with fine hints of wild raspberry, crushed ripe redcurrant, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of caramelized oak and vanilla. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers fat, roundness, a mineral frame and a fine acidity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy berries and small notes of fresh raspberry associated with touches of strawberry, slight hints of fresh flowers / blueberry as well as slight hints of toasted oak, discreet touches of sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of mocha.
