The nose is aromatic, structured and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackcurrant, violet / flowers and blackberry, combined with a subtle hint of crushed Gariguette strawberry, raspberry as well as fine touches of sweet spices, toasted oak / vanilla and a very discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice acid frame, a fine juiciness, minerality, a fine fat, a nice freshness, a nice acidity as well as a fine gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, raspberry and fine notes of redcurrant, blackberry combined with a subtle hint of licorice / colas, ripe bell pepper and very discreet touches of sweet spices / vanilla. There is a fine touch of saline minerality on the finish / persistence.
