Château Clos Lague 2015 – Fronsac

Château Clos Lague 2015 – Fronsac

The nose is spicy. It reveals notes of cassis, juicy berries and spices associated with slight notes of black cherry, wild strawberries and hints of discreet wood, Bourbon vanilla and chocolate (in the background, after aeration). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, a fine acid frame, a good definition and a fine freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, black cherry and cassis associated with touches of wild red fruits as well as a subtle hint of colas and very discreet touches of spices. Tannins are fine and very slightly chewy. Good length.
