The nose is aromatic and offers a fine juiciness and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of crushed blueberry, cassis and fine touches of blackberry, strawberry, redcurrant jam associated with a touch of purple flowers, clay, vanilla, caramelized oak, mocha and a very discreet hint of zan. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice juiciness / gourmandise, a fine suavity, an acid frame, minerality, a good structure, a small tension as well as a good definition / expression. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed blueberry and juicy Boysenberry combined with slight touches of wild strawberries, red berries as well as hints of licorice, grilled oak and a subtle hint of chocolate. Tannins are a bit firm. Good length.
