Roc de cambes 2014 – Côtes de Bourg

The nose is fruity, powerful (but full of balance) and offers richness, deepness as well as a slight freshness. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry, fresh cassis and strawberry associated with a subtle woody hint, chocolate as well as discreet hints of hazelnut. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a very beautiful freshness, dynamism, roundness as well as an acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fresh cassis and slight notes of strawberry/fresh small red fruits associated with hints of toasted oak, chocolate, a disreet hint of caramelization as well as a subtle hint of tonka bean and a subtle toasted hint. Tannins are fine, racy and structuring. Good length. The persistence is gourmande, slightly juicy and offers a slight hint of cacao bitterness.
