The nose is fine and offers a certain delicacy. It reveals slight notes of blackberry, plum and strawberry associated with a discreet hint of spices, Sichuan pepper as well as slight notes of spices and a hint of flint. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a slight gourmandise, juiciness as well as a nice freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy plum, juicy cassis and small notes of fresh raspberry associated with a hint of cherry as well as discreet woody hints, dark chocolate and a slight hint of caramelization. There are medium-sized and slightly firm tannins. Good (and gourmand) persistence.
