The nose is fruity, slightly powerful/intense, slightly incisive and offers fat. It reveals notes of dried lemon zests and dried raisins associated with slight notes of lemon marmalade, candied clementine and a subtle touch of caramelization, spices, flowers, tea and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a fine minerality, freshness, a fine acidity, a certain finesse, fat and a nice tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, candied orange, candied clementine zest and touches of Zante currant, caramel associated with subtle hints of candied white fruit (in the background) as well as toasted hints and blond tobacco. Good length and persistence with notes of spices and rancio.
