The nose is groumand, rich and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of caramel, crushed date and slight notes of candied strawberry associated with a discreet hint of candied lemon, candied blackberry, a hint of blueberry jam, cedar as well as discreet hints of mocha and Virginia tobacco. The palate is fruity, fresh, nicely balanced, elegant and offers an acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, dried fig and slight notes of candied lemon, crushed/fresh blueberry associated with a discreet hint of crushed cassis, candied strawberry, small woody touches, cigar box, chocolate as well as touches of sweet spices/vanilla and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. Good length.
